Junya Watanabe - S/S 2017

Junya Watanabe is known for his collections that always stand out. This time, Japanese designer was inspired by the subcultures of the 80s and beginning of the 90s... Therefore, post-punk, goth, industrial, punk and whatnot got a whole new twist... or better said dimension. Berlin street style brought a spiky 3D geometry into Junya Watanabe collection for S/S 2017. But... the presentation of 3D origami and architectural shapes wouldn't be complete without the strong industrial sounds of Nine Inch Nails.

“Neither extreme construction nor streetwear stand alone stylistically. They are complementary and when merged together, become stronger.”
