STRATEAS.CARLUCCI's collection for A/W 2013-14 was inspired Ned Kelly, Irish Australian bushranger who was considered, from one side, a cold-blooded killer and from another folk hero. They adopt his idea of "homemade armour" and translate it into a collection which shields and protects the wearer the same way armour would. FORTRESS not only embodies the concept of protection from a physical aspect, but the collection also delves into the personal and emotional shields that we, as soldiers of our own battles, construct in our day-to-day lives.
